Celebrity engagements, and even more importantly, engagement rings, have always captivated us common folk. We live vicariously through the lives of our favorite celebs and we aren’t ashamed! Let’s take a look back at a countdown of some of our all-time favorite and most memorable celebrity engagement rings in history.


10. Michael Douglas presented a 10-carat, antique marquise diamond to Catherine Zeta Jones when he proposed to her. This ring was worth an estimated $2 million!

9. Prince Phillip got crafty and creative with his engagement ring to Queen Elizabeth II – it was made of diamonds from his mother’s tiara. Talk about romantic!

8. Paris Hilton received a 24-carat canary diamond from billionaire Paris Latsis, worth $5 million. But it doesn’t stop there – he also gave her a $2.1 million 15-carat white diamond ring. They never actually got married, but I’m pretty sure he never got those rings back.

7. When Britney Spears was getting married to Kevin Federline she bought herself a $40,000, 4-carat, cushion-cut diamond ring with a platinum pave setting. Kind of depressing, if you ask me.
