7 Best Dressed Actresses at the Oscars

7 Best Dressed Actresses at the Oscars

The 86th annual Academy Awards brought more stars out than the clearest night! Besides being one of the most competitive years of the Oscars, every actress and actor really dressed to impress!

Lupita Nyong'o in Prada

1. Lupita Nyong’o: Prada absolutely loves her. Nyong’o is one of the only actresses that ceases to amaze us with every red carpet event. The 12 Years A Slave actress even got the color to fit her skin tone down to the Tee. She wore a low cut flowy powder blue Prada dress with a gold headband, gold button earrings and some classic bangle bracelets. She really knew to impress since the actress also took home the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Kim Kardashian at the Elton John Oscar Viewing Party

2. Kim Kardashian: Although she didn’t necessarily attend The Academy Awards, Kim went to Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party and looked completely flawless. The reality star wore a Celia Kritharioti red hot dress with a plunging neckline that showed some cleavage. The dress really hugged her in the right spots creating a slimming appearance. She sported some Lorraine Shwartz jewels which is predictable since her engagement ring from her passed to engagements have been from the jewelry designer. Kim K was escorted by her sisters Kloé and Kourtney who were also phenomenally dressed.  We think post pregnancy is the best she has ever looked!

Jennifer Lawrence Best Dressed at the Oscars

3. Jennifer Lawrence: Oscar 2013 winner Jennifer Lawrence graced us with Dior on the red carpet for the 86th annual Academy Awards. The popping red strapless dress had a flared mid range and really emphasized her beautiful curves! The jewelry placement was simple, she only wore diamond stud earrings and a necklace that dangled down her back, appearing as a choker in the front. Although she didn’t take home an award we still give her a best dressed title in our books!

Kate Hudson Looked Flawless at the Oscars

4. Kate Hudson: All we can say is wow. She looked like a modern day Marilyn Monroe wearing a chic 20’s inspired Versace gown. Our favorite part of this dress was the low cut front and that cape-like back! The dress was so flattering to her small frame and really gave her some curves. She kept it simple with the jewelry, just wearing diamond drop dangle earrings. We applaud this blond bombshell!

Portia de Rossi Oscars

5. Portia De Rossi: It was a big night for the actress, her wife Ellen Degeneres hosted the Oscars so she really played it up in the fashion category! While walking down the red carpet we definitely noticed the Arrested Development star. She wore a Naeem Khan dress that had knitted design which made the dress a bit transparent. It was definitely classy and fitted well. She sported some pearl stud earrings and had her hair blown back. The off-white color was the perfect color for her skin tone. This dress was definitely a good look!

Anna Kendrick Oscar's Dress

6. Anna Kendrick: In 2010 Kendrick was nominated for an Oscar for Up in the Air with George Clooney. She really dazzled up the Red Carpet with a black and red gown by J. Mendel. The midrange was a transparent damask-esk design with red accents, but the real stunner was the back of the dress. It was open with intricate strings of fabric. Kendrick had black and diamond Art Deco inspired drop dangle earrings that matched the dress impeccably.

Cate Blanchatt at the Oscars

7. Cate Blanchatt: Here is another starlet that ALWAYS looks good on the red carpet. Besides being one of the most talented actresses of our generation, she is also the most fashionable. The Blue Jasmine star wore Giorgio Armani. The dress was a tan color with intricate beading throughout the dress. She wore diamond drop earrings with the gown and her how curled and down. She looked absolutely flawless! Cate snagged an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
