Another superstitious wedding date is the Ides of March. This isn’t just a made up tale from a Shakespeare novel, but a real bad luck day. Many fear the “Ides” because it was the day that Roman leader Julius Caesar was assassinated. March 15th is now globally known as a day of superstition and try to not plan a wedding on this day, especially if you are Roman! Previously this date was just simply known to the Roman’s as a night where a full moon will be present. Unfortunately for the next three years the Ides of March fall on weekend days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
