Man Survives Fatal Fall, Decides to Tie the Knot on Christmas

A Sacramento couple can withstand all the tests of love after a tragic accident left Tommy Jeglum in a 2 month long coma. Tommy fell from a telecommunications tower after a day on the job, the fall caused severe brain trauma which doctors gave Tommy a 10% chance of recovery.

Luckily for Tommy he was in that 10%. He awoken from his coma and shortly after decided it was time to marry his girlfriend Regina. Regina told FOX40 “Now he is awake and getting better every day.” Tommy’s speech is still impaired to a degree, but he makes positive milestones everyday. According to Regina he is now able to sit up and eat by himself.

Through all the trauma Regina and Tommy knew how lucky they both truly were and tied the knot on Christmas Day. Friends and family gathered and all said the same thing, it was a Christmas miracle he was alive and doing better each day.
